consultation
The first step in creating a design for your garden is to arrange a consultation to review the project. At the consultation we will give you as many design ideas as possible and answer any questions you may have about the potential for the site. We will also give you our design consideration questionnaire that will help start a dialogue for your project. Consultation fees can be discussed when a meeting schedule is set.
conceptual design phase
From the consultation we can make arrangements to create conceptual and working plans for the garden. This process starts by defining the priorities and direction of the design. We place great importance on the conceptual phase of each project. This is where the real creative energy of the design is shaped and expressed.
working drawings
Once the conceptual ideas are agreed upon working drawings can be created. These drawings are used by a landscape contractor or the client to accurately install the garden as it is drawn. Fees charges are, of course, dependent on the scale and complexity of the project.
install consultation
After the working plans are drawn and a contractor selected we are, of course, available to help with the installation of the project. This includes ensuring that the contractors install the garden as it is drawn on the plans and helping to make any adjustments. Project management fees are generally calculated as a percentage of the installed cost of the landscape.
